Welcome to the service department at the Geneva Bicycle Center. We offer a one month guarantee on all our repairs, barring flat tires. Also, we give a year of free tune-ups with every new bike purchased – check out our bike brands page!
We offer repairs on most makes and models of bikes. We also stock parts for just about anything, and we’ll special order what we don’t have. We are happy to answer your questions, big or small, and also offer free estimates on all repairs while you wait.
Some tips:
-Bring in the whole bike - Diagnosis and repair is always easier on the complete beast.
-Clean your bike - although a tune up includes bike polishing, months of trail grime is hard to work around. No time to wash your bike? We’ll do it for you for $10.
- When looking for a replacement part, always bring in the old part.
-All repairs are First Come, First Served - the only fair way. We’ll hurry your bike back, but remember that spring and summer are peak times.
SERVICES INCLUDE:
Tune up: adjusting hubs, truing wheels, adjusting bottom bracket and headset, bike polishing, lubing derailleurs, lubing all cables and housing, adjusting shifting and braking, and tightening of all nuts and bolts. Price: $49.99
Overhaul: includes a Tune up, plus: new cables and housing; hubs, headset, and bottom bracket overhauled with fresh grease and bearings. usually done every 2000-4000 miles for a road bike, or 500-1000 off road miles. Price: $110-$150
Drive train cleaning: derailleurs, chain, cogset, and chainrings washed in the parts washer in as additional service during tune-up.. Parts are then re-installed and fully adjusted and lubed. Price: $25 plus $49.99 tune-up = $74.99
Wheel truing - $6-$15
Suspension fork overhauls - priced by the job
Boxing of bikes for shipment -$35 - $40 includes box and all packing materials
